Post Christmas burnout has hit. It’s a grey wet January day, just like it was last year and the year before. 

Your body is crying out for exercise, dry January and salads but how will you get through juggling motherhood and work without chocolate, alcohol and Netflix? 

Goals! Goals! Goals!

There’s magic afoot. 362 days (as of writing this) ahead of you, to create miracles in your life!

Every day is a blank page. A story yet to be created.

What will you create this year?

If you’ve been reviewing last year nursing regret, then now’s your chance to remedy it. As January arrives full of hope and promise, there’s a fresh energy about her. Yet she has the masculine yang power to motivate and propel any plans forward. 

Okay you’ve made New Years Resolutions before and they’ve never lasted past the 2nd week of Jan. 

Most New Year’s resolutions and goals barely last ‘til February. But you can increase your chances of success with one simple step.

Research proves if you write your goal down, you increase your chance of success in achieving it by 30%

So, grab a pen and paper or your phone and start writing down what goals you want to achieve or what you want to change in your life.

Only pick goals or resolutions that are what you really want.

If you don’t really want to give up smoking but you partner wants you to, then that’s a pointless resolution to make. But if you’re determined to lose two stone, then you will!

But just writing your goals down won’t get you very far. You have to take dedicated action to achieve them. You have to make the changes. 

Make 2024 the year to stop making plans or wishing or praying for what you want. And in the words of a famous sports brand … ‘Just do it!’ 

Get those running shoes on, find a nutritious meal plan, ditch that drink, meditate to gain clarity and go make your dreams a reality now. Whether that’s changing jobs, building your successful business or spending more Us Time with your family, by 2025, you’ll be so glad you did.
